DVD Series ‘The Case for Faith’ with Lee Strobel
Investigating the Toughest Objections to Christianity

This Week:  'Why Is Jesus the Only Way to God?'
A note from Lee Strobel about this question..."Fighting words" arouse a visceral response in people, making their guts churn and their hands ball into fists. This offensive language strikes deep inside by attaching their most cherished beliefs, virtually taunting them to lash out in retaliation. To some people, such are the outrageous words of Jesus Christ: "I am the way and the truth and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me." Many people consider it arrogant, narrow-minded, and bigoted for Christians to contend that the only path to God must go through Jesus of Nazareth. In a day of religious pluralism and tolerance, this exclusivity claim is politically incorrect, a verbal slap in the face of other belief systems.

Welcome to visitors and newcomers. All baptized Christians are welcome to receive Communion.  Our custom is to receive the bread in one's hands and to help guide the chalice to one's lips.  A Lay Eucharistic Minister will dip the wafer in the wine if you wish.

Meditating for Success ~ Week 5
Memorization is really a preparation for meditation. As we meditate on Scripture, before going to sleep at night, we get the benefits and insights from the Word that God wants us to have. Our brain will work on it while we are sleeping. And in the morning, meditate before getting up. This powerful instruction from the Lord brings great spiritual results in our lives.

Previous Weeks’ Scripture:
Week 4 (7/8/2018) ~ Jeremiah 33.3
Week 3 (7/1/2018) ~ Romans 5:8
Week 2 (6/24/2018) ~ Romans 12:2
Week 1 (6/17/2018) ~ Psalm 19:14
