This Week's Announcements

Greetings from St. Michael's
From Fr. Dan: I believe this is a time to move forward in prayer. As it says in Dan. 11 when describing a time of great conflict,
“But the people who know their God shall be strong, and carry out great exploits.”
Maybe you can’t leave the house right now, but you can pray! And in prayer, through the blood of Jesus Christ, you and we can carry out great exploits! Let us all be faithful, especially in this time. Great victories lie ahead.

This week’s Scripture is from:

2 Tim. 1:7
“For God gave us a spirit not of fear but of power and love and self-control."

Bible Translation: English Standard Version (ESV)

You will find 'Meditating For Success' on our website under the 'Ministry' heading. The weekly Scripture verse will be posted there along with previous weeks. Memorization is really a preparation for meditation. As we meditate on Scripture, before going to sleep at night, we get the benefits and insights from the Word that God wants us to have. Our brain will work on it while we are sleeping. And in the morning, meditate before getting up. This powerful instruction from the Lord brings great spiritual results in our lives.

This week:

Wednesday 3/18  No Bible Study
Friday 3/20           No Prayer Service

This Coming Sunday,  March 22th, the Fourth Sunday in Lent
As I'm sure most of you know by now, Bp. Love has asked that we suspend public services for the next two Sundays. Hopefully, we will resume meeting on Palm Sunday, April 5. Wednesday night Bible studies are also suspended until April. I am going to try to record a video Morning Prayer to be up on this Sunday. I want you to be encouraged by prayer and the Word of God. Stay tuned for this! I am still here for you, and can be contacted as usual. I'd rather not post my cell number on Facebook, but if you can't get me there, send me a private message and I will call you as soon as I get it. (And give you my cell number!) Psa. 62:8 says, "Trust in him at all times." God is ever faithful. Let the church be the church! Jesus is Lord!
